  GL Prior & Associates Previously known solicitors working for/as Preston More Solicitors. How do I know this? By the paid bills they want me to pay twice now under another name just to add insult to the injury and pain them put me through.
  I went to Preston More for help as my ex had moved out and was still coming around to harrass me. I was living rural in the Daintree forest and at least 1 hr drive to shops etc. My ex then came and took my car so I would have no transport - out of spite. I gave all meat food I had to my pet cat to survive and I lived on what I could plus forest fruits for a month. My ex then placed a DVO on me even after threatening to hit me again. This was used to try and remove me from n't house. I needed to get a DVO myself for actual protection against my ex but I had no vehicle to get me to the police station. I used what I had in savings to buy a cheap car and get it transported to me in 12 days. I called Preston More to help me out in the meantime 2 weeks before court and they placed my DVO in only an hour before court so it was not valid. After court I was told by Preston More that it was safe to go home now. I went home only to find my ex and new partner arrived there shortly after me. I got beaten up so badly this time I thought it was my last day on earth. I called the solicitor who was confused and not much help saying they shouldn't be there. Police who took 4.5 hrs to arrive while I hid and locked myself in a 2x2m shed. When the police came and saw me blood all over my face they said I was the bad person and I had no right to be there because of the DVO on me. I got my phone back my ex stole from me while police were there. There was 64 missed calls from worried family and friends. Useless Preston More not only got me removed from my home but I lost my job as my face was not presentable for reception work. I moved in with my mum who is Mackay (14 hrs away) as I lwas having then to live in my car. There was one time I was given only 12 hours warning before needing to turn up to court by my solicitor. I was suicidal and had to get on anti-depressants. Even though I was unemployed I still paid all my debts to Preston More. I had receipts for all debts paid and they accused me I still owed them after I decided to go with a different solicitor. Going with a different Lawyer WAS THE BEST DESICION I MADE. Preston More literally nearly cost me my life. I wish to put a review out there as they are too unprofessional and nobody should go through what I did with them again.
